What a joy it is to introduce you to our church! You’ll discover that our passion is to provide a place where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with God.
At Restoration Community Outreach Center, we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the bible, where there’s relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendship, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we’d like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.
Our church doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We are a life-giving multicultural church, and our goal is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship service that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways.
Your Servants in The Lord.
Our vision is to extend our services beyond the walls of the church and compel men and women to have a life changing experience through fellowship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To reach the lost at any cost, providing services that will bring deliverance to the total man, through outreach ministries
Philosophy of Ministry: The key value is Discipleship. Our goal is to make reproducing disciples after the command of Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20 (The Great Commission). The people’s job is to bring visitors. The pastor’s job is to lead them to faith in the service through alter calls. The Pastor is the leader and trainer – like a player coach. The role of the congregation is to make disciples. The result is mature and reproducing people (Believers).
Pastor Avary B. Kemp, Sr. is the founding and Senior Pastor of Restoration Community Outreach Center Non-Denominational Church, R.C.O.C. in Griffin, Georgia.
He is a multi-talented man of vision whose life embraces his God-ordained destiny and purpose. Pastor Kemp, as he is affectionately called, began his career on the late Governor Mel Carnahan of Missouri, Training Task Force for State Employees. He achieved corporate success as chairman of several non profit organizations including the Midwest Stunnas girls’ and boys’ basketball and recreation club until he felt the call of ministry upon his life.
Pastor Kemp responded to the call of God to pastorship in 2011 beginning a prayer ministry in his home. R.C.O.C. Church was started shortly after holding its first services in his home with a few faithful members.
Pastor Kemp attributes his success in ministry to the faithfulness of God and the support of his devoted wife, Torekia. Pastor and First Lady Kemp have found God’s faithfulness to be the main ingredients to their success.
First Lady Torekia Kemp's belief is that if God is glorified, his people will be edified; therefore, she continues to accept the challenge of speaking out for God wherever He leads her, knowing that if He orders her steps, she will always end up on the right path.
Mrs. Kemp delightfully delves into the enlightenment of others by spreading the unadulterated word of the Lord. She is faithful in not only her commitment to God, but also in her commitment to serving others.
First Lady Torekia Kemp is a native of Molena, Georgia. She is a graduate of Valdosta State University, where she earned an associate of science in Dental Hygiene and a bachelor’s of arts in philosophy. In her professional career, she is a Dental Hygiene Clinic Coordinator, where she educates college students to become Dental Hygiene professionals.
First Lady Kemp is truly a humble and faithful witness for Christ. She has a genuine concern for God's people and demonstrates it through her walk. Over the years, she has devoted herself to ministry by sharing her personal testimony and teaching others to have faith and to stand on God's word. First Lady, Torekia Kemp is well regarded in the Christian Community for her many gifts and talents, including teaching the gospel.
